I did a quick check on how my posts were doing and here you can see that both of my recent posts are sitting at positions 1 and 2 one was only posted 7 minuets ago.  How great a keyword phrase marketing for bellingham attorneys is I am not sure but there are a lot of paid advertisers for it so can’t be a bad deal at all.

Notice how fast my last post Bellingham immigration lawyers was indexed in the search engine; just 8 minutes, now the post is sitting right now at position 22 but with a little tweaking who knows where it may end up.  My main point is that you can achieve fast local internet marketing results for Bellingham  lawyers and therefore you can do the same in your town, city, parish, or county quite easy and fast.

One thing I notice is that there are just a few google ads for bellingham immigration lawyers so that might be worth investigating the use of google adwords, I would think that one client would pay for a whole lot of pay per click advertising for some brilliant lawyer.

Local Marketing in Bellingham for Immigration Lawyers

I was surprised that there were so many searches for immigration lawyers in Bellingham, but there you go I forgot we are sitting on the Canadian border up here in Northwest Washington State.  I like to tell people when they ask where Bellingham is; any farther west and I’d be in the Pacific Ocean and any farther north and I’d be talking Canadianese Eh!

So here we have a nice little niche for my lawyer clients, if you look back a couple of posts you will see these searches were not showing up for Immigration attorneys, just lawyers.  You might notice there is more commercial competition for immigration lawyer than for immigration lawyers, I would suppose that to be because people in dire straights tend to look for a lawyer, not lawyers, one is too expensive who wants two or more?

bellinghamimmigrationlawyer.com is available right now and the winter Olympics are coming up just across the border in Vancouver BC this could make someone some money!  Local marketing in Bellingham for immigration lawyers just heated up.

We will use Bellingham lawyers for our local website marketing study.  Okay so we need a keyword rich domain name to put a website on, here are a few ideas:

Okay so which ones do I use?  Well here are the ones I chose:

Why these choices in domain?  The .info domains are cheap for one year $1.07 at GoDaddy.com and bellingham-attorney.com was only dot com left.  The .org domains would work too as well as the .net.  If I was a Bellingham layer I would pickup some of these domains, since I am not an attorney or lawyer I am going to think a while, at least over night before I but a few of these domains on speculation.  A good domain name will certainly help my local website marketing for bellingham lawyers.

Local Internet Marketing for a Bellingham Attorney

When I think of local internet marketing I think about doing it for a Bellingham attorney, because that is where I live and so I could use a lot of offline marketing methods to find an attorney that wants more clients.  This should not be hard, remember those big full page ads event half page ads in the Yellow pages testify to their dsire for more clients, so lets take a look at Google’s external keyword tool again.

If I wanted to test these keyword statistics I would create a web site with the following pages in it:

• bellingham attorneys
• bankruptcy attorney bellingham
• injury attorney bellingham
• dui attorney bellingham
• divorce attorney bellingham

I would find news stories, articles, maybe even list some attorneys in Bellingham that specialize in those areas.  I would see how much traffic I could drive to those pages and then armed with those stats I would contact attorneys in Bellingham by what ever offline method I chose.  Since most of the attorneys have little local internet marketing going on, this is wide open for development.

Local Marketing Strategies for Chicago Lawyers

We have seen how local marketing strategies can change for different locations now lets compare the Chicago Attorneys and Lawyers.

First of all the search numbers are down for Lawyers in Chicago, but just when I told you yesterday that the good people of Chicago did not seem to be drinking more and getting those nasty DUIs, look here, we have 400% increase in searches for a DUI lawyer.  If I was a DUI attorney in Chicago, I’d sort of change my name to lawyer and adjust my advertising so I’d showed up as DUI layers.  The main point is to adjust your local marketing strategies both online and offline so you can maximize your potential client base.  The actual conversion to a customer will of course depend on the lawyers staff and how competent they are in sales.  Yes Virginia we all must sell ourselves.

Local Marketing Strategy for Chicago Attorneys

A good marketing strategy for Chicago attorneys would start with a good feel for what the people in Chicago are really searching for.  I used the Google external keyword tool to see the actual keywords people are typing in and how often they are looking for these keywords.

We can see that the trend of people pursuing medical malpractice claims is doing well in Chicago.   There is also an upswing in wrongful death claims it seems.  Surprisingly there is not the increase in divorce searches that we saw nationally.  The good people in Chicago don’t seem to have followed the increase in DUI searches either.  I would like you to start getting it into your head that instead of “keyword research” we are actually looking at what Chicago residents are concerned about that is the reason that they actually sat down and typed these word that express their interest in that particular subject, don’t it kind of make you feel like a peeping tom?

Offline Business Marketing for Lawyers

Yesterday it was the attorney, today it is time to look at offline business marketing for lawyers, what!  you say, that’s got to be the same thing, you’d kind of suppose so, but apparently not to the general public. Lets look at the stats again this time for lawyers.

Remember I told you to note the medical malpractice stats for attorneys, well apparently their stats were down because people wanted a medical malpractice lawyer instead, now this could be a mistake but perhaps with all this talk of a health care bill and limiting medical malpractice lawsuit amounts, people are scrambling to get some of their doctors money.  Do you think perhaps people want a good old hard fighting lawyer to go after Doc, not some three piece suit, mamby pamby attorney at law?  What the hell is that attorney at law crap any way?  Do ever see or hear of a farmer at farm , plumber at plumbing, logger at log, just don’t make sense, but since when do most of the laws we have make any sense.

As you can see the keywords searched for, are similar for both layers and attorneys however your offline business marketing should take both terms into accoung for the best results.
